Once the question has been popped and the date has been set, it’s time to start inviting guests to celebrate with you on your special day! At Robedee Design, we understand that selecting your wedding invitation suite may seem overwhelming at first. That’s why we offer one-to-one design services to make the process as personal, fun, and stress-free as possible. We’ll set up a consultation appointment to chat about your wedding – from the overall look and feel of the entire event to the day-of details. We’ll look at paper and ink swatches, invitations, discuss wording etiquette and more.
If you are local, we can meet in person – at your home, a local coffee house, or at a Starbucks; if you aren’t we can connect via Email, Phone, Skype or Facetime. Consultations typically take about an hour or two!
Based on our discussion in your consultation, we’ll send a detailed proposal for consideration. Upon proposal approval, a contract and invoice will be provided. Once we receive the signed contract and 25% deposit – CONGRATS you’ve officially become a Robedee Design Bride!
WEDDING INFO & TIMELINE
We’ll send you our wedding info package via email. The wedding info package includes:
Wedding Detail Template – You’ll receive a wedding detail template to fill out all of your wedding day details – bride & groom names, wedding hosts, ceremony, venue, accommodations, wedding website & more. Based on our consultation, some of the information may be filled out already!
Guest Address Template – You’ll receive a google spreadsheet link to fill out all of your guests’ names and addresses.
Timeline - You’ll receive a custom timeline with all of the key dates in creating your Wedding Invitation suite.
Once we receive your wedding info package, Robedee Design can start to create your design proofs. The design proofs will be emailed – all full-color digital files. During the design process, we’ll work together to create the perfect Wedding Invitation suite.
We have finalized the design, and its time send the files off to the printer! Yay! We’ll send you an email with the final invitation suite files, which are print ready. You will review all files, and provide final approval. Once you have provided final approval, the files will be printed exactly as shown in the signed proofs, and you will no longer be able to make changes. Final balance is due with returned approval and sign off.
Once final approval and final payment is received, files are immediately released to the printer.
PRINTING & DELIVERY
Printing and delivery takes between 3 to 4 weeks. Once we receive your invitations back from the printer, we’ll carefully review it all to ensure it is ready to be delivered to you. Wedding Invitations are hand-delivered, and we’ll arrange a delivery location convenient for you.
About 4 to 6 weeks before your Wedding, we’ll follow-up to schedule time to create your Day-of Details: Ceremony Programs, Menus, Escort Cards or Seating Chart, Table Numbers, Wooden Signs and anything else you may need.
We know how important your special day is which is why we offer affordable designs that do not sacrifice quality. Most designs are digitally printed, and paired with gorgeous paper stocks, ink colors, envelope liners, wax seals, belly bands & more.
If you have your heart set on foil or letterpress – we can create that too!
The average Robedee Design couple has a budget between $700 and $2500. There are so many options available at every price point!
The price of your wedding invitation suite will vary based on the design, printing processes, paper stocks, number of pieces, and number of invitations needed. Typically, each suite includes the following elements: Invitation, Insert Card, Reply Card, Reply Envelope and Outer Envelope.
*There is a $650 minimum order for all Wedding Invitations.
If you need your Wedding Invitations shipped, Wedding Invitations ship to US customers via UPS or USPS. The shipping cost is between $25 and $60, based on ground or expedited shipping.
